Artificial is a non-linear narrative game made with Fungus and Unity. The player sees the world through Aki's eyes, a half alien half human cop who stumbled across a dark secret... 

 

Originally we also wanted to add romance options for the supporting characters to help develop a more personal story for the player, however due to scope we had to cut the romance routes out.


When designing the story, I used Twine to map out the timelines for each choice the player can make. The game has different outcomes based on the player's choice. Will they choose absolute justice, or will they take fate into their own hands?
